Booking Conditions

By booking at Waddy Lodge, guests accept the following booking conditions:

1.         Tariffs and Fees

Tariffs/ Prices listed on our Website are a weekly rate.

Bookings for Waddy Lodge are available in whole weeks, commencing on Saturday.

Waddy Pty Ltd may in its sole discretion permit part week bookings under particular circumstances.

Tariffs, Prices/ quotations are subject to change without notice and will not be guaranteed until  deposit has been successfully processed by us and you have received formal confirmation of your booking from us.

Waddy Pty Ltd may in its sole discretion choose to discount certain tariffs at any time for any reason, including ‘last minute’ or ‘standby’ discounts.  Such discounted tariffs do not apply to existing confirmed bookings, and Waddy Pty Ltd will not amend the tariffs for an existing booking to match any subsequently published discount tariff.

2.         Payment

Waddy Pty Ltd accepts payment by Electronic Funds Transfer.  Under extraordinary circumstances we may accept payment by cheque, however confirmation of a booking will not be issued until proceeds are cleared.

Waddy Pty Ltd does not accept payment by cash and has not facility for accepting payment by any means at Waddy Lodge.

3.         Deposits

A $500 deposit per week per property is required to secure a booking, to be paid within one week after making the booking.  Bookings will not be confirmed until proceeds of a deposit are confirmed in Waddy Pty Ltd’s bank account. 

A booking may be terminated at the sole discretion of Waddy Pty Ltd if a deposit is not received within 5 business days of the booking being made.

The balance of the booking fee must be paid at least eight weeks before the arrival date. 

For bookings made within eight weeks before your arrival date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

4.         Availability

Waddy Pty Ltd will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the availability of properties on the Website is accurate, however there are many reasons why a property may not be available as indicated.  Waddy Pty Ltd is not liable for loss or damage suffered by any party under any such circumstance, howsoever the loss or damage arises.

5.         Confirmation

A booking request lodged online or any other means is not a confirmed booking.   A Guest should not consider any booking to be confirmed until receipt of communication from Waddy Pty Ltd stating that the booking is confirmed and that the deposit has been received.

6.         Information about Premises

Waddy Pty Ltd uses reasonable good faith endeavours to ensure that the advertised information in relation to the Property and the Premises is current and accurate, however Waddy Pty Ltd is not liable for any errors or omissions in the description of the Property or the Premises.

If any particular feature/facility is essential for any Guest in choosing to make a booking at Waddy Lodge, it is advisable that the Guest checks this with the reservation staff at time of booking.

7          Booking Process

The booking process for Waddy Lodge is as follows:

You identify a property that you wish to book, and enter all the required details via the online booking form and then submit the booking request.  Alternatively you may send an email to bookings@waddylodge.com.au.

The booking staff will check the booking request for completeness and accuracy, and ensure that the Property is available for the booking as requested.  If the booking is accepted by Waddy Pty Ltd, a further email will be sent setting out the terms of the booking, and requesting payment of a deposit.

Upon successful processing of the deposit payment an email confirmation will be sent to the Guest confirming the booking.  Only at this point is the booking confirmed.

Within eight weeks of the arrival date, you must pay the balance of the booking fee.  Failure to pay the balance before the required date may result in termination of a booking.

Note that special payment conditions may apply to special discount arrangements.  Such conditions will be made clear in the discount offering.

8.         Termination and Refund Policy

8.1       Termination by guest

If you cancel your booking for any reason, you must notify us in writing (or via email), and the following cancellation fees apply.

a.     If cancelled more than 12 weeks before arrival, your deposit will be returned.

b. If cancelled less than 12 weeks but more than 8 weeks before arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.

b.    If cancelled less than 8 weeks before the arrival date, you will forfeit all moneys paid unless the property can be re-let.

Note that special termination/refund conditions may apply to special discount arrangements.  Such conditions will be made clear in the discount offering.

8.2       Early Departure

No refund will be given for early departure for any reason, other than if the property becomes unavailable per clause 8.5.

8.3       Weather and Illness

Refunds cannot be made for bookings cancelled by the Client less than 12 weeks before the Arrival Date due to inclement weather, illness or any other matter not identified under cl 8.5.

8.4       Termination by Waddy Pty Ltd

If the balance of the booking fee has not been paid eight weeks before your arrival date we may terminate the booking without notice to you and seek to re-let the Premises.  If your booking is terminated under this clause, you will be automatically forfeit all monies paid by you.

If you breach any material provision of the Terms and Conditions, including the Booking Conditions and House Rules, Waddy Pty Ltd may terminate your booking and you will forfeit all monies paid.

8.5       Property Unavailable

If the Premises becomes unavailable for occupancy before or during your stay for any reason (i.e. damage to the Premises, carrying out emergency repairs, lack of vehicle access, enforceable evacuation orders etc), we will refund monies paid for the whole or part of the booking not fulfilled.
